The Child's Place Montessori School is located at the Deerfield Township site previously occupied by
the Montessori Academy of Cincinnati.  The program is designed to foster a love of learning and
independence in children of all ages, as well as to facilitate individualized education that provides children
a solid grounding in basics and the stimulation to explore and gain knowledge of the areas of the world
they find most interesting.

Conveniently located in the Deerfield Township / Mason area, the school is only one mile north of I-71,
just off Mason-Montgomery Road, directly across from the Deerfield Towne Center.

This uniquely designed school has spacious classrooms with plenty of natural light.  Every classroom has separate toilet facilities and an observation window for parents.

Children enjoy a fenced playscape with abundant climbers, tire swings, sandbox, gardens and bike paths on a two acre campus.  On rainy days they have fun in the 1,500 s.f. gym/activities room.

Key Amenities

1. 1.  Diapers/Pull Ups - Diapers or pull ups required for the children during their time at The Child's Place (TCP) are supplied as part of the tuition.  If your child requires a special brand or type not in our inventory, we will store them and use them as you direct, but you will have to supply them at your expense.

2. 2.  Private Lounge for mothers of infants - A private lounge adjacent to the Infant Area is available for mothers who wish to visit for breast feeding or for simply taking a work break with their babies.

3. 3.  Morning coffee - Enjoy a free cup of coffee on your way to work each day - just stop by the kitchenette after you drop off your child.

4. 4.  Observation Windows - Every classroom in the building has an observation window with a one way mirror.  We welcome your visit any time to observe your child and all of the activities going on in his/her classroom.

5. 5.  Security - Our building has a secure entrance system that requires a door code that is issued only to parents and staff for entry at appropriate times.

7. 6.  AMS Affiliation and Curriculum - We are an affiliate of the American Montessori Society. Lead teachers hold approved Montessori training; classrooms are enhanced with a full complement of age-appropriate Montessori learning materials.  Morning sessions in the Full-Time program follow the Montessori curriculum and are complemented by a more relaxed Constructivist curriculum and "special" activities (see below) the remainder of the day.  Students in our Half Day Program (3 hours/day) have a Montessori curriculum directed by Montessori Teachers during their entire class.

7.  Specials Teachers - Our curriculum is enriched by teachers who are specialists in the Spanish language and in music. These activities are incorporated throughout the day in appropriate ways for the various age groups.
