Megan Ball, Head of School. M.Ed. (Montessori Education) from Xavier University; BS (Family Studies), Miami University. She holds an AMS Certification 6-9 and a State of Ohio Teaching License (P-3). This is Megan’s seventeenth year with us and her second year as Head of School. Megan taught in Extended Care, Upper Elementary, and Lower Elementary before she became Head of School.
Lisa Emery, Early Childhood Education Director. M.Ed. (Montessori Education) from Xavier University; BS (Montessori Education), Xavier University. Lisa has an AMS 3-6 Certification. This is her fourth year in an administrative position at MAC and marks her twentieth year with the school. She worked as a classroom teacher in MAC’s preprimary program before moving into the MAC office. She also has two children who attend MAC.
Denice Pellecchia, Administrative Coordinator. Attended Endicott College, Beverley, MA; SUNY Stony Brook, Long Island, NY. Denice has been with us since 1992, having worked in a variety of capacities, including Montessori Teacher, Kindergarten Enrichment Teacher, reading support, Junior Great Books Instructor, and Administration. Denice was a parent at our school when the doors first opened, with two children who graduated from The Child’s Place.
Harriet Grimmer, Accounts Receivable Coordinator. Attended Centre College, Danville, KY. Harriet has been with the school since 1996. She is primarily responsible for billing and accounts receivable. Harriet was a parent at our school for four years prior to joining our staff, with two children who graduated from The Child’s Place.
Annette Uhrick, Administrative Support. BA (Journalism), The Ohio State University. Before joining the MAC staff in 2006, she worked as a Data Analyst, Software Trainer and Computer Network Administrator.
Bev Noland, School Secretary, has worked for many years as a secretary and office manager in a variety of settings; she brings a great deal of experience working with children and families. This is her first year at MAC.
Beth Sullivan, Office Magician. Beth’s son graduated from MAC’s eighth grade a few years ago. Over the years, she has substituted in classrooms, worked in the cafeteria, chaired various school committees and been the Bees Knees at all tasks we have assigned. Of late, she has worked in the office in a variety of areas.
