Administrative Staff

Pat Elder, Head of School and Founder. M.Ed. and BGS (Montessori Education), Xavier University. She has AMS certification at the 3-6 level and training from XU at the 6-9 level.

Ken Elder, Chairman, Co-Founder and Financial Director. BA (Arts and Sciences) and MBA, University of Cincinnati. Early Childhood training at graduate level from U.C.

Erin Karnofski, Assistant Director and Admissions Coordinator. MA (Anthropology) University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI; BA (Biology) Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, MN. Erin was the office administrator for a private Montessori School in Minneapolis, MN, prior to moving to Cincinnati. Erin has been with the school since 2006.

Denice Pellecchia, Administrative Coordinator. Attended Endicott College, Beverley, MA; SUNY Stony Brook, Long Island, NY. Denice has been with us since 1992, having worked in a variety of capacities, including Montessori Teacher, Kindergarten Enrichment Teacher, reading support, Junior Great Books Instructor, and Administration. Denice was a parent at our school when the doors first opened!

Harriet Grimmer, Accounts Receivable Coordinator. Attended Centre College, Danville, KY. Harriet has been with the school since 1996. She is primarily responsible for billing and accounts receivable. Harriet was a parent at our school for four years prior to joining our staff.

Annette Uhrick, Secretary. BA (Journalism), The Ohio State University. Before joining the MAC staff in 2006, she worked as a Data Analyst, Software Trainer and Computer Network Administrator.
