Extended Care and Support Personnel
Morning Extended Care
Lauren Pellecchia, Preprimary Extended Care. This is Lauren’s third year at MAC. She is pursuing AMS Certification at the Greater Cincinnati Center for Montessori Education. Lauren worked with MAC Elementary Extended Care students and has run our preprimary summer camp for several years.
Becky Schweier, Preprimary and Elementary Extended Care. This is Becky’s fifth year with us. She completed her studies at the Christ Hospital (associated with Xavier University). She had been a fulltime Mom and in-home childcare provider for nine years before joining us.
Afternoon Extended Care
Laura Ewing, Preprimary Extended Care. Laura holds a BA in French from Franciscan University of Steubenville and is working on her MS in Early Childhood Education. This is Laura’s first year at MAC. She brought to us extensive experience working as a caretaker and live-in nanny.
Joni Carlson, Preprimary Extended Care. Joni holds a Child Development Associate (Early Childhood Education). This is Joni’s third year working at MAC. She joined MAC with 15 years combined experience working with young children at The Children’s Center and The Child’s Place (owned by the Elder family). She taught in both the Constructivist and Montessori Programs.
Sarah Ross, Preprimary Extended Care. Sarah has worked at MAC’s preprimary summer camp for three years. She also worked with infants, toddlers and preschool-age children at The Child’s Place (owned by the Elder family).
Angie Wade, Elementary Extended Care. Angie holds a BA (History) from the University of Cincinnati. Before joining the MAC staff last year, she worked at The Child's Place (owned by the Elder family) for six years with infants, toddlers and preschool-age children. Prior to that, she worked as a Teaching Assistant in the public school system.
Lunch Room Workers
Joni Carlson has been with MAC since 2009.
Karla Starrett has been with MAC since 2007.
Angie Wade has been with MAC since 2010.
